इंडिया टुडे ग्रुप और कार्वी इनसाइट्स के खास सर्वेक्षण 'देश का मिज़ाज’ में जब लोगों से पूछा गया कि वो किसे बेहतर प्रधानमंत्री मानते हैं तो 6 नाम सामने आए. वो 6 नाम जिन्हें लोगों ने अबतक का सबसे लोकप्रिय प्रधानमंत्री बताया. इस लिस्ट में सबसे नीचे हैं, अर्थशास्त्री प्रधानमंत्री कहे जाने वाले मनमोहन सिंह. मनमोहन सिंह को केवल 6 प्रतिशत लोगों ने देश का लोकप्रिय प्रधानमंत्री बताया. Narendra Modi received 26 percent vote in the July MOTN survey followed by Indira Gandhi, who got 20 per cent vote of 12,100 participants. Atal Bihari Vajpayee, who died on August 16 after a prolonged illness in New Delhi, was voted as the third best prime minister ahead of Jawaharlal Nehru, who got 10 percent votes.
