In a hate-speech survey released by Association of Democratic Reforms (ADR), 58 MPs and MLAs in the country have cases of hate-speech registered against them. Out of the total 15 MPs named, 10 are from the BJP which includes big names like L.K. Advani and Uma Bharti. Of the 43 MLAs named in the survey, the BJP again tops the list with seventeen. Isn't the details of ADR survey on hate-speeches a shame for the ruling party of the country? Doesn't the survey imply that the BJP is the most intolerant party? Is there any place for hate-speech in a large and diverse democracy like India?
