Purely in Terms of Movie Making Capacity :
Aamir khan should be excluded from this as he waits for the right script even if he has to sit idle for months. He wasted 1 year for dhoom 3,which akshay would have taken 3 or 4 months. Dangal taking 2 years to complete is again bad scheduling( it depends on the producers, directors etc. also)
Salman khan taking 1 year to complete movies like kick, bodyguard, prdp is just lazy. Well they all want to maintain their brand value by not over exposing.
Shahrukh khan is more busy with his endorsement deals, ipl team . Keeping in mind the kind of films he has been delivering in last 5 years, he can easily deliver 2-3 films per year.
I think today every mainstream star except Aamir is working towards 2 films per year target.
