How true is Shoaib Akhtar's claim that Tendulkar used to tremble while facing him?

Answer 1:-

John Buchanan, the former Australian coach, once remarked: "Sachin Tendulkar has a weakness against short-pitched bowling".  Tendulkar's response to that statement was: "Something must be seriously wrong with bowlers all over the world if they have allowed me to score 15,000 runs in Test cricket despite any such apparent weakness in me".   You can pretty much put Shoaib Akhtar's comments along the lines of John Buchanan's.

Answer 2:-

In a match against Pakistan, Shoaib had run out of his bag of tricks against Sehwag. So he decided to come around the wicket and give a taste of some chin music with bouncers to Sehwag. His plan, to distract Sehwag.

The Story: After every ball to Sehwag, Shoaib comes up to him and says,

Shoaib: Hook maar ke dikha
Translation: Hook this ball, if you can

This frustrates Sehwag and he replies.

Sehwag: Yeh bowling kar raha hai ya bheekh maang raha hai?
Translation: Is he bowling or begging?

To which even Pakistani fielders could not hold their laughter back. After an over Sehwag realised Shoaib Akthar is going to stick with this tactic, so he goes up to Shoaib and says,

Sehwag: Wo tera baap khada hai non-striker end pe, usko bol woh marke dikhayega.
Translation: See your father is standing there at the non-striker end. Go tell him, he will show it to you.

For readers, the baap in the non-striker end was Sachin. Shoaib later bowled a similar bouncer to Sachin, and Sachin hit a sixer. After the six, Sehwag walks up to Akthar and says,

Sehwag: Baap baap hota hai, beta beta hota hai.
Translation: A son can't try to dominate his Dad

Answer 3:-

Akhtar's teammate, one of cricket greats Akram himself said that the remark was not true.

Akram had also explained one incident. In 2003 world cup, when sachin was attacking Akhtar's bowling with a runrate of 18 runs per over, Akhtar was helpless and was not ready to do bowling to tendulkar anymore. Wasim Akram's words "Nobody, even in Pakistan, takes him seriously".

As Sehwag once said "Baap baap hotha hain aur beta beta hotha hain"
