Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani’s eldest son, Akash Ambani got engaged to diamantaire, Russell Mehta’s daughter, Shloka Mehta, on Saturday, in Goa and the Ambanis threw a big bash at their residence Antilla, on Monday. The who’s who of the industry attended the star-studded party to celebrate the newly-betrothed couple's engagement. On the guest list were Bollywood A-listers like Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Katrina Kaif, Karan Johar, John Abraham and Rajkumar Hirani among others. Cricketers Zaheer Khan and Harbhajan Singh also attended the party. Post the engagement ceremony in Goa, the Ambanis visited the famous Siddhivinayak Temple, along with Shloka, on Ram Navmi, to seek Lord Ganesha’s blessings. Buzz has it that Shloka and Akash will tie the knot in December.
